ECOLOGICAL CHINESE CABBAGE
Chinese Cabbage belongs to the Cruciferae family. Outside they is very similar to a "Roman" lettuce. It has vertical blades, blade and elongated stalk and veins very distinct and large (occupying much of limbo).
Leaves at first grow erect and separate, after the acogollamiento is formed and finally a brown pellet.
It is a biennial plant. Vernalization affects them much; blooming in spring, as temperatures rise. The cycle from planting until harvesting is about 70-90 days.
Chinese cabbage is native to the Far East, are grown in Chinese for many years, where they arrived in Japan in the late nineteenth century. In recent years there has been widespread in Europe.
